Operation Prayer Warrior
One of my goals this year was to become a prayer warrior. (I’ve done pretty well in working towards that goal. So much room to grow, but this year I developed greater consistency than ever before. Baby steps! Learn about them in my free challenge to Build a Life-Proof Bible Study Habit! The same tips work just as well for prayer.). So it seemed fitting that I would finish off the year by reading a book called Prayer Warrior Confessions. This book is a collection of prayer stories from the lives of the editors and others. You articulated well what my problem was. I couldn’t. Yes, there were unnecessary info dumps with some of the stories that actually worked against the story and stripped it of some of its power. Well said.
I was listening to the books (text-to-speech on my Kindle!), and a few times I had to back up to see if I missed the connection. Nope…no connection! But great stories if they aren’t diluted!
This book sounds like an awesome read.
